Linda Remember!

Linda

Remember!
God Loves YOU and So do I!!!

Every Tear Drop

It hurts me to see how many are suffering from job loss these days.  It seems someone I know and care about is dealing with the situation more often then I have ever known.

One of my favorite hymns is "God Moves in a Mysterious Way" by William Cowper in 1774.

God moves in a mysterious way his wonders to perform; he plants his footsteps in the sea and rides upon the storm.  Deep in unfathomable mines of never failing skill he treasures up his bright designs, and works his sovereign  will.  Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take; the clouds ye so much dread are big with mercy, and shall break in blessings on your head.  Judge not the Lord by feeble sense, but trust him for his grace; behind a frowning providence he hides a smiling face.  His purposes will ripen fast, unfolding every hour; the bud may have a bitter taste, but sweet will be the flower.  Blind unbelief is sure to err, and scan his work in vain; God is his own interpreter, and he will make it plain.

Hold on, help is on the way!  Watch this little flash movie and be blessed!

FORGIVENESS

Today I have had a lot of time to reflect on the past month.  I have started a new job after being let go from my job of six years.  God IS GOOD!  I have landed in a great place.

He has taught me over and over again that HE IS IN CONTROL even when I doubt!

He is teaching me about FORGIVENESS

I hope you were inspired by the flash movie in the link above, I was.

Happy Chinese New Year

January 26, 2009

Happy Chinese New Year.

Jenna has a cold today and has been sneezing a lot. She has shared it with Grandma and Pap Pap too. Let's hope it passes soon.

For our celebration this year we have sent cards to our Chinese friends with red lucky money envelopes. We are going to try to follow some of the traditional customs over the next few weeks too.

Jenna has been playing in her kitchen today and loves making soup for everyone. She makes fish soup and alphabet soup.

We attended her cousin Owen's baptism yesterday and she had great fun with some little girls her age.

We would love to hear from anyone who follows our blog.

Frog Jammies

January 9, 2009

Frog Jammies

I am enjoying the day today because the peanut slept all night last night. This is always a blessing for her and her parents. She slept in her frog jammies which she loves.

Grandma was sick yesterday and today which makes life a bit more interesting. Yesterday Jenna spent the day with her friend Luke and his mother and brother at their home and she loved it. She smiled all evening from the joy she had in the day. Today she spent the day with mom, not quite as exciting but nice.

Jenna's favorite song today was BINGO and Patty Cake.

It seems like the stomach bug is going to get everyone in the family sooner or later. Dad is not feeling very good tonight and we had to change our plans to go out for my birthday.

I find that I am missing a friend of mine (age 91) that passed away in February 2008. She was an interesting person to know. She was so very excited to have met Jenna.

Remember everyday is a gift, the present. Live in it.
